Oakland is a city of transportation, trade, arts and culture. The Highway 880 corridor from Oakland International Airport to Downtown Oakland is rapidly evolving, with new housing, hotel accommodations, and retail destinations springing up in formerly underutilized industrial zones. This exciting new Ergur Tower project of 160 residential condominiums stands tall on a tight site and capitalizes on the current pro-development posture of the City of Oakland. The project is composed of a parking pedestal and tower containing condominiums and features a full service restaurant and catering hall located 22 stories above ground level. The tower is punctuated by a series of "sky streets" that pierce through the building, creating extensions of the pedestrian environment hundreds of feet in the air. Multi-story cantilevered blocks are inspired by the bay. In addition to creating engaging interior spaces with incredible panoramic views across the bay, the project will become a destination and a new visual landmark for Oakland.
